NCI-BC DIPLOMA APPLICATION

The National Coaching Institute - British Columbia supports coaches in their pursuit of an Advanced Coaching Diploma (formerly Level 4 tasks).    The Diploma program is open to all sports and coaches who meet the designated prerequisites. Coaches from sports that have an  approved Level 4 NCCP may be eligible for Level 4 certification in addition to the Advanced Coaching Diploma depending on the context and level of athlete coached*.
Diploma Program Prerequisites The following pre-requisites are required: National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) accredited coach or equivalent, Competition-Development or former Level 3, 3 years demonstrated coaching experience in a full-time year round progam, Signed MOU from National Sport Organization, Letter of support from International Sport Federation for all applicants outside of Canada.
Please note the upcoming intake for the Diploma program beginning September 2012 is for the Victoria-centric 2 year part-time program. The next intake for the Tri-Campus delivery will be September of 2013.   *Level 4 certification is geared towards coaches working with high performance athletes at the national / international level.
