Coast Arts & Athletics Program

Coast Hotels & Resorts Arts and Athletics Program (CAAP) has been developed to support the dreams of athletes who represent Canada on the world stage. To be eligible for the Coast Inn of the North grant, athletes must be registered with PacificSport Northern BC and in good standing with their Provincial and National Sport Organizations. Preference will be given to athletes currently training with Canadian development and senior national teams who are not Sport Canada AAP carded.  

Coast Inn of the North will pay the approved training costs of selected athletes, up to a maximum of $10,000 on an annual basis, including such eligible items as:

• training and coaching fees
• competition expenses (travel and fees)
• sport medicine and science expenses
• uniforms and sport apparel expenses for training and competition

The award will be for one year, renewable annually for a three-year period, based on maintenance of eligibility and completion of the pre-determined deliverables.
