Dave Lieskovsky has been involved in all aspects of sport, from playing to coaching to administration. His favorite recreational sport is Alpine Skiing. Dave is very enthusiastic about PacificSport and is proud to be involved because "its mandate is consistent with our sport & recreation department’s directions". A graduate of Mount Royal College (Diploma – Community Recreation) and Washington State University (BA – Recreation and Park Administration), he is currently employed with the City of Penticton as the Acting Manager of Recreation. He is also the Chair of the KidSport Penticton Committee and has volunteered at other regional initiatives including; Race Director – Junior Triathlon; Event Coordinator – Ogopogo Ski Express (fund raiser – Kids Cancer Camp); and Volunteer – Ironman Canada. |

David Graham - Provincial Board Rep David Graham has a passion for all sport. His favorite sport is skiing, and he has competed in basketball, squash, racquetball, downhill skiing, ski mountaineering, and cycling... mostly at a recreational level. David became involved with PacificSport to assist with the development of sport at all levels in the region. |

Chad Douglas Chad Douglas Chad Douglas works in the area of sport tourism as Tourism Kelowna’s Sport Event Development Manager. Along with PacificSport Okanagan and the City of Kelowna, Tourism Kelowna is a founder of the Sport Kelowna partnership. Sport Kelowna is a community-based partnership committed to sport development. With experience as Program Manager with Alberta Northern Lights Wheelchair Basketball Society in Edmonton and as a sports reporter with a number of BC newspapers, Chad’s career path continues to wind through the world of sport.
Chad graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 having achieved a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Leisure and Sport Management and Public Management. He gained valuable experience through his studies by working with ClubFit to establish the Fitness Industry Council of Canada. As a parent and volunteer, Chad coaches as part of the Kelowna Minor Basketball and appreciates the work of organizations such as Kelowna Track and Field, Westside Minor Hockey and Westside Youth Soccer. He enjoys basketball, football, golf and tennis.

Jock Tyre is involved with every aspect of sport from grass roots to high performance coaching. Other than curling, his sport passions are playing hockey and short track speed skating. He became involved with PacificSport to assist with its' development and increase in the profile of coaching and programs in the Okanagan. Jock is a graduate of Sheridan College, Ontario (Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management) and is currently the General Manager of the Kelowna Curling Club, responsible for facility, food and beverage. He has volunteered as Director for District 3 of Curl BC as well as the Special Olympics Provincial Coach, the Special Olympics National Coaching Advisory Board and has been a Director of the CABC Board. |

| Jim GabrielJim Gabriel- Chair Jim Gabriel has participated in all types of sports, but it was his love of running and swimming that lead him to swimming and triathlon at the competitive level. He became involved in CSC Pacific and PacificSport to “move athletes ahead, to influence change and support a model that is progressive with sport development.” A graduate of BCIT (Recreation Facilities Management) and University of Alberta (Recreation Administration), he is the Sports and Facilities Manager in the City of Kelowna’s Recreation Services Department. His volunteer commitments include coaching minor hockey. |

Steve Manuel The 2009/10 season will mark Steve's ninth year at the helm of the Heat women's volleyball program. After many season of being so very close, the Heat went all the way in 2008-09 winning both the BCCAA Provincial Championship and going on to win the CCAA National Title. Steve says, "Last season everything came together down the stretch, it was the end result of many years of hard work. We have taken some time to enjoy our achievements and now it's back to work. I believe that we have all the necessary pieces to defend our title but now that we are here, it will be just as much or more work to stay at the top" |

Greg Redman Greg Redman is a manual therapy and sport physiotherapy professional and has had success with many Olympic champions, international, national and weekend warriors. He has been a therapist with the Canadian Olympic team at the Athens, Torino and Beijing Olympic Games. Greg is the Head Physiotherapist for the Royal Canadian Golf Association and Canoe Kayak Canada. In addition he is a consultant to the Canadian Sport Centre where he works with Track and Field, Wrestling, Skeleton, Luge, Diving and Swimming athletes.

Amber Gilbert is a Mom of 3, Part-time Recreation Technician for the City of Kelowna, Sprints & Hurdles Coach, and a Fitness Instructor (spin, strength, bootcamp). She also worked with PacificSport Okanagan for 2 years as a Program Coordinator. Amber has been Coaching Track and Field and Running Clinics for 13 years and competed for 10 years as a competitive athlete, now its just all for fun! Amber is also Level 3 Certified in Sprints/Hurdles, and is a Course Conductor (Learner Facilitator) for NCCP Technical Level 1 and more recently this has changed to Sport Coach and Club Coach Certifications. |

Rob Johnson was a member of the varsity UBC Thunderbird Football Team from 1982-1985. These days his favorite sports are soccer, water skiing, and tennis. He became involved with PacificSport because he is a strong believer in the value of sport as a component of everyone’s education, growth and development. A graduate of UBC (BPE, MPE), Rob is currently employed as Associate Professor Faculty of Education, Director, Athletics & Recreation at the UBC Okanagan campus. His volunteer roles are primarily with youth sport organizations as a coach and/or administrator. He is currently the Chair of the Camp Owaissi Board of Directors (a children’s summer camp on the Westside) and he also keeps busy coaching three youth soccer teams. |
