BC Support Network: When the national skeleton team is training in Whistler she and her teammates utilize the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific Performance Centre at Whistler Mountain Ski Club.

Awards:
Michelle is the first Canadian woman to win an Overall World Cup title, the first Canadian woman to win a World Championship title and the only female competitor anywhere to win both titles in the same season, as she did in 2003.
