| Career transitions are an integral part of long-term athlete development as every athlete will face an imminent retirement from high performance competition. The focus on long-term athlete development pathways provides an opportunity to recognize and plan for predictable and non-predictable, sport and non-sport transitions during your athletic career. Given the demands of being a performance athlete maintaining a life-sport balance is essential.
Career Track provides educational and career planning opportunities to increase your awareness of career transitions and assists you in developing the skill to navigate transition situations effectively. Career Track provides comprehensive planning sessions, information seminars, and networking opportunities for athletes to gain practical knowledge in an integrated format to meet your training and competition needs. If you have any questions, contact Andree-Anne LeRoy, CSC Pacific Athlete & Coach Services Coordinator. Note: Business Cards are available to Podium and Canadian Elite level athletes upon request. |
