Tracie has been an integrated performance enhancement team partner with PacificSport Northern BC for over one year. She has already made a huge impact on our center and the entire network by developing the ‘Sport Readiness’ coach enhancement workshop manual.

Tracie Albisser enjoyed an active childhood growing up in rural settings. She became involved in competitive volleyball when she was 14 years old going on to play junior and senior territorial volleyball in Whitehorse, Yukon. She attended the University of British Columbia completing her Bachelors of Human Kinetics and Masters of Science in Kinesiology. Her specialization was cell physiology but her passion remained in physical activity participating in running, weight training, mountain biking, scuba diving, and instructing group fitness.

Upon graduation she began personal training and worked in a clinical setting specializing in functional abilities assessment and physical rehabilitation. Over the last 10 years of training experience she has had the opportunity to work with a full spectrum of clientele including high level athletes, injured/disabled, and those with chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, arthritis, and osteoporosis. Recently she has specialized in functional strength training for athletes which has allowed her to utilize her skills in functional assessment, rehabilitation, and personal training.
